Nailart: Gradiënt Sunset

Oké, het is misschien erg raar om te zeggen, maar ik ben echt heel erg trots op deze creatie! Willen jullie meer foto's zien?

Okay, it might sound weird, but I am so damn proud of myself for making this creation! Do you want to see more pictures of it?

 Ik zag al veel foto's voorbij komen op andere blogs met gradiënt nails en ik ben er echt helemaal gek van. Ik heb zelfs ook al een artikel geschreven met gradiënt nailart inspiratie, en ik vond het dan ook eens tijd om het zelf uit te proberen, dus ging ik gister lakker aan de gang met verschillende kleuren nagellak en een sponsje!

I've seen lots of pictures coming by on different blogs with gradiënt nails, and I'm totally in love with it. I also made an article with gradiënt nailart inspiratie and I thought it was about time to make my own gradiënt nails. So I took some different colours of nailpolish and a sponge and did my thing!

De kleuren die ik gebruikte zijn: Bye, Bye Birdy!, Wild, Wild West-side (hier komt morgen een Daily Nails van) en Bloody Mary To Go (hier komt binnenkort ook nog een Daily Nails van). Ik dacht met deze drie kleuren een mooie overloop te kunnen maken en ik vond ze perfect bij elkaar passen. Ze geven een beetje een "sunset" look bij elkaar. Als finishing touch heb ik een special effect topper van Essence gebruikt genaamd Night In Vegas.

The colours I used are: Bye, Bye Birdy!, Wild, Wild West-side (there will be a Daily Nails from this colour by tomorrow) and Bloody Mary To Go (also a Daily Nails of this polish soon!). I thought these colours would blend in pretty good with eachother and the also look very good together! It is a bit of a "sunset" look when you put them together. As finishing touch I used a special effect topper by Essence called Night In Vegas.

Het enigste waar ik erg van baal en wat ik dan ook erg jammer vind is dat ik mijn nagelriemen bijna niet meer schoon kreeg en dat het er nu dus ook nog steeds een beetje op zit.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that I couldn't get the nailpolish off of my cuticles and it is still on there a little bit.

Voor een eerste keer vind ik ze echt heel erg goed gelukt, en zoals ik al eerder zei ben ik er echt heel erg trots op. Dit motiveert mij zeker om weer meer nailarts te gaan doen!

For a first time I think it came out very well, and like I said before I am really proud of it. This motivates me to do so much more nailarts again!
